Privacy Policy

Pievra ("the App") is developed by Antoine Barrault. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information. The short version: we collect as little data as possible and nothing leaves your device.

Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. We do not operate any backend infrastructure. Specifically:

• No analytics or tracking SDKs
• No advertising frameworks
• No crash reporting sent to us
• No user accounts or registration

API Keys

The App requires a Jules API key to function. Your API key is stored locally on your device — in the system Keychain on Apple devices, or in encrypted shared preferences on Android — both of which are encrypted by the operating system. Your API key is never sent to any server other than the official Jules API (jules.google.com) to perform the actions you request.

Communication with Third-Party Services

When you use the App, it communicates directly with Google's Jules API on your behalf. This communication is:

• Initiated only by your explicit actions (creating sessions, fetching status, approving plans)
• Sent directly from your device to Google's servers
• Authenticated using the API key you provide

We have no access to the data exchanged between your device and Google's Jules API. Please refer to Google's privacy policy for information about how Google handles your data.

Voice Input

The App offers speech-to-text functionality for dictating prompts. Voice recognition is performed on-device using Apple's Speech framework on iOS/Mac or Android's Speech Recognition API. Audio data is not recorded, stored, or transmitted to our servers.

Local Storage

The App stores the following data locally on your device:

• API keys (in the encrypted system Keychain on Apple devices, or encrypted shared preferences on Android)
• Your theme and display preferences
• Cached session data for offline viewing

All local data can be removed by deleting the App from your device.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
